Register Clients (Dialogue General Options)
In the dialogue "General options" you find the register "Connections". Here you make some settings for the web-browser, mail program and MS-agent.
You will find various areas to make your settings: Web client and Embedded Web browser on the left hand side, e-Mail client, MS-Agent and BINGOOO as standard browser
on the right hand side.
Web client
Here you will find the options embedded Internet Explorer, embedded Netscape/Mozilla and external default browser.
Embedded Web Browser
Here you find various options to activate/deactivate via mouse click:
Smart source panel
If this option is activated, the source panel will be hidden as soon as you load an individual result in the embedded browser. As a consequence, the browser will appear larger. When you start another search the source panel will be called up again.
Smart browser toolbar
If this option is activated, the browser toolbar will only be shown when your mouse directly stands below the upper border of the browser panel.
Smart browser panel
If this option is activated the browser panel will only be shown when a result form the result table is loaded.
Smart browser mouseflip
If this option is activated you can hide the browser panel by simply moving your mouse quickly from the browser panel to the agent panel (and vice versa). This function only works if the option Smart browser panel is activated as well.
Suppress new browser window
If this option is activated, loaded results will only be shown in the embedded browser.
Suppress pop-up windows
If this option is activated, the loading of advertising pop-up windows (from commercial websites loaded) will be automatically surppressed.
No Cache/History entries (BINGOOO personal/corporate/professional only)
Clicking on this option will deactivate the "Sites previously visited" list. Sites you have visited earlier will not be shown. This service is designed to protect privacy and security.
no agent related websites (BINGOOO personal/corporate/professional only)
If this option is activated, theme advertising (when changing agents) is prevented.
no keyword related website (BINGOOO personal/corporate/professional only)
If this option is activated, keyword advertising is prevented.
e-Mail client
As default you will find the option Standard (Mapi, Shell). The name of the program will be indicated in the filed below. If you choose the option Defined instead of the default, you have to enter your individual e-mail program in this field.
MS Agent
If you have installed the program Microsoft Agent, your BINGOOO session can be assisted by small animated figures (avatars). You will find the following options:
enabled
If this option is activated, you will get any program or alarm messages spoken by the animated figures.
speak messenger messages
If this option is activated, another BINGOOO user on your local network receiving your BINGOOO instant message will get the information spoken by the animated figure.
whisper
If this option is activated, the spoken message will be whispered (low voice).
fast
If this option is activated, the speed of the spoken message will be accelerated.
automatic language selection
If this option is activated, the speech output will be in the language of the user's country.
BINGOOO as standard browser
You will find the following options:
For HTML and HTTP
If the option is activated, BINGOOO will be set as standard browser for .htmls-files and http-links. With a click on a respective file or link, BINGOOO will start automatically, instead of Internet Explorer or Netscape.
Verify your entries with the keys Save or OK. Click on the key Reset if you want to activate the previous values again. Close the dialogue with the keys X or Cancel.
